This Coins Policy applies only to users in the United States.
The ibble Site, which includes the app, our website www.getibble.com, as well as any other website, page, or app owned by us (the “Site”), may allow certain users to purchase Coins, and then use Coins to purchase Services on the Site, subscribe to Content, or Tip a Content Creator. This Coins Policy, which may be updated by us from time to time, outlines the use of Coins on the Site. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Coins Policy have the meanings ascribed to them in our Terms of Service (the “Terms”), which are incorporated herein.
Eligibility. Users of our Site, who are at least 18 years old and who have an Account, may purchase virtual “coins” (“Coins”) from us on the Site. The purchase and use of Coins are subject to this Coins Policy, the Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Purchase of Coins. Users may purchase Coins using the authorized payment methods and processes outlined in the Terms. Your purchase of Coins is also subject to any additional terms, conditions, and restrictions imposed by our third party payment processor. Once a purchase of Coins is completed, the purchase is deemed final and no refunds are permitted, unless otherwise required by applicable law or by our third party payment processor.
Use and Restrictions. Coins may only be used on the Site to purchase certain Services, subscribe to certain Content, or to give a Tip to a Content Creator, as further described below. Coins have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash or any form of legal tender, except as expressly permitted herein. By purchasing and using the Coins on the Site, you do not acquire any rights or interests in any Content on the Site. Ownership rights and interests in the Site, and in any Content, are governed by the Terms. Except as expressly set forth herein, you may not transfer, assign, barter or trade any Coins, or offer to do any of the foregoing, and any such attempted transfer will be void. Coins do not constitute currency or property of any kind, and therefore cannot be transferred on death or otherwise by operation of law.
Purchase of Services, Subscriptions. You may use Coins to purchase certain Services or Subscriptions. Upon purchasing a Service or Subscription with Coins, the value in Coins of this Service or Subscriptions, which will be displayed to you prior to completing your purchase, will be deducted from your account balance. Once a purchase of a Service or a Subscription is complete, the purchase is deemed final and no refunds are permitted, unless otherwise required by applicable law or by our third-party payment processor.
Tipping. You may give Coins to a Content Creator through “Tipping” (also referred to as a “Tip”) by selecting the relevant Tipping option on the Content Creator’s page or the Content Creator’s Content. Upon Tipping a Content Creator, the total number of Coins you choose to Tip, which will be displayed to you prior to completing the Tipping process, will be deducted from your account balance and you will be unable to take back the Tip. When you Tip a Content Creator, other users may be able to see your name and/or user ID, the fact that you provided a Tip to the Content Creator, and the amount of the Tip that you gave. Only Content Creators may receive Tips. Content Creators may use the Coins they receive through Tipping to purchase certain Services or Subscriptions or to Tip other Content Creators. Content Creators may also withdraw the Coins they receive through Tips, as further described below.
Withdrawing Coins. You may request to withdraw some or all of your Coins in exchange for monetary compensation (in U.S. dollars) by selecting the relevant options in your user account. The withdrawal of your Coins is processed by our third-party payment processor, which is currently Apple and Google. The total monetary compensation you will receive for your Coins will be calculated based on the number of Coins you are withdrawing, platform fees, any applicable fees imposed by our third-party payment processor, currency exchange rates, and other factors to be determined by us. We may impose withdraw thresholds or limits, which will be displayed to you at the point of withdraw. These thresholds and/or limits may be changed at any time by us, and we will give you reasonable notice of these changes. Your withdrawal of Coins is further subject to any additional terms, conditions, and restrictions imposed by our third-party payment processor.
Violations. You must follow the terms and conditions of this Coins Policy, the Terms, and any Standard Content Creator Subscription Agreement you enter into. If you violate any terms of these agreements, you may have your account terminated or suspended, forfeit any Coins in their account, and/or be subject to liability for damages. If your account is suspended or terminated for violating any terms you are subject to, we will not compensate you or refund you for any Coins you may have, or any Subscriptions or Services you have Purchased.
Right to Manage/Modify. Ibble has the right, in its sole discretion, to manage, modify, control, and/or eliminate any Coins and/or any uses of such Coins, including Tipping, either generally or for individual users. We will strive to provide you reasonable notice of any such changes, but such changes may be made without advance notice to you. Ibble shall have no liability to you for exercising any of these rights.
